My decoupage plates are an example of how I use old, labor intensive decorative art techniques for my work. Influenced by the perspective of Japanese Ukiyo-e, I created my own interpretation of it by cutting out motifs and scraps from Liberty of London print fabrics to compose my “floral narratives”.
